Besom in Basingstoke has been collecting and delivering Christmas hampers to people in need for a long time. However, over the past few years, this work has mushroomed with 500 – 600 hampers being delivered during each of the last two Decembers. This operation does, of course, require a good deal of space to operate efficiently. We are asking, therefore, if any church in the town area has a large room which is not being used during the pandemic and which you might be willing to release to Besom for the month of December. We would need some parking nearby for our van, our donors and our deliverers to be able to load and unload.
