OneChurch Basingstoke Leaders Prayer and Fellowship will take place throughout 2019 on Wednesdays.
Building Relationships
As you know, a key part of OneChurch is to build relationships and create strong fellowship among the Church leaders of our town. This is not always easily achieved with the business of ministry and the pressure of diary commitments.
Wednesday Lunchtimes
However, we have found that since most of us stop to have a bite to eat at lunchtime that we can meet for an hour or so from 12:30 onwards every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at Buckskin Evangelical Church for OneChurch Basingstoke Leaders Prayer. You are invited to bring your own sandwiches and we will provide tea and coffee. This gives us opportunity to share news, get to know each other better and often we make some time to pray together. Some leaders find they can’t always stay for the whole time but just drop in for a while which is fine. We’re usually away by 2:00pm.
Wednesday Mornings
For those of you who are early birds we have organised the other Wednesdays of the month (1st 3rd & 5th) so that we meet at 7:30 a.m for about an hour in different churches around the town for OneChurch Basingstoke Leaders Prayer. This again provides opportunity to share news over an early morning coffee and there is time for some spiritual devotion or reflection and prayer together. Each session is led by the minister who is hosting the meeting.

The dates for OneChurch Basingstoke Leaders Prayer are in the Events Diary on this website for the whole of 2019. Venues are included for each of the Wednesdays for January and February. It is always worth checking the night before just in case any last minute changes to venue have been made! It is possible to link the Events Diary to the calendar on your computer, smartphone or tablet directly so that you will be kept up to date automatically.
Those who are hosting the early mornings in January for OneChurch Basingstoke Leaders Prayer have already given their agreement, however, I would like to ask those who I have put down for February to check that they can do so and confirm it to Trevor Woodget as soon as possible please!
We would also welcome offers from other leaders to host an early morning OneChurch Basingstoke Leaders Prayer event. Please contact Trevor by email with possible dates so that he can include you from March onwards.
