London Street URC are hosting ‘Sacred Rhythms: Art and the Unexpected’, an art exhibition by local artist Gill Sakakini.

These images explore the spaces between sacred action and stillness. Gill observes and interprets the routine and extraordinary, the macro and the micro in the life of Winchester Cathedral. Seen from unusual vantage points the artist captures the rhythms of the cathedral’s life and discovers what happens where the monumental intersects with the human.
Gill Sakakini is a minister at St Mary’s Church in Tadley and an artist who visually and fleetingly interprets life at Winchester Cathedral.
