Hope Community Church is hosting an emotional wellbeing day looking at stress and mindfulness in Basingstoke on Saturday 8 June 2019 from 10am-3pm.
Morning Session: Understanding stress 10am-12:45pm
Stress affects us all, so come and understand what happens in our brain and body when we feel stressed and learn tools to change the way you think and feel. Using Biblical principles supported by current neuroscience research, we will show you how to reduce your stress no matter what your
Afternoon Session: Christian Mindfulness 1:30-3pm
Research has shown that Mindfulness has a plethora of health benefits including reducing the physiological markers of stress and increasing overall emotional wellbeing. We will introduce Mindfulness from a Biblical perspective and share the emotional, psychological and spiritual
benefits. During the session there will be practical opportunities to give meditation a try, as well teaching on how to develop more present and mindful daily rhythms.
Morning Session – Understanding stress (10am-12:45pm) – £25
Afternoon Session – Christian Mindfulness (1:30-3pm) – £15
