About Birmingham Citadel Songsters
Birmingham Citadel Songsters – or choir – is a group of over 40 people who sing a range of musical styles to spread the Christian message.
They support the worship in the Services at The Salvation Army in Birmingham each week with a song that brings blessing and inspiration to many who listen.
The group regularly visits other Salvation Army centres across the UK and has been on several international tours.
Lesley Nicholson was appointed as Leader of the group in 2005 and is also a member of The Salvation Army’s premier vocal group, The International Staff Songsters. Lesley is supported by her team – Lucy Ridley, Edwina Hayward, Laura Sharman, Karen Hayward, Mark Pearson and Andrew Clampton.
The Concert
