Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council will be raising an Armed Forces Day flag at the Civic Offices on Monday 24 June 2019 at 2pm.

The Mayor, Cllr Diane Taylor, would be pleased if you would show your support and join her in celebrating the Armed Forces.
RAF Odiham personnel along with air, land and Sea cadets and veteran contingents, led by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Corp of Drummers, will parade from the bandstand to the Civic Offices.
The Armed Forces Day flag will be raised and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Mayor Cllr Diane Taylor will present badges to veterans.
We are delighted to announce that Gavin Watson, a Hampshire war veteran who won gold for Team GB at the inaugural Invictus Games, will be guest speaker during the ceremony.
Following the ceremony please do visit the various stands and displays in War Memorial Park.
A collection will be held to raise funds for Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA), the armed forces charity which supports servicemen and women, veterans and their families.
