Choose to sleep out with your family for one night and help men and women forced to sleep outside every night.
Will you join us and hundreds of others across Basingstoke and Deane and sleep out in your garden on Friday 5th March? Raise vital funds and awareness for men and women and help to rebuild their lives devastated by homelessness.
It’s a grim realisation, that without support like ours, the life expectancy of a long-term homeless person is just 45 years!
Event Details
Please join us on Friday 5th March and challenge yourself to sleep-out in your garden. Please stick to your household/ support bubble groups when doing so.
It is the collective spirit and determination of our fundraisers which has been the reason for the Sleep-Out’s appeal and success. While we can’t be together in person as planned, we can virtually. That’s why we will be hosting a series of optional live-streamed events on the night so we can be together and share our own ‘sleep-out’ experience with each other.

Recent publicity has given the impression that there are no people sleeping rough in Basingstoke. While The Camrose Centre and Julian House and other members of the Social Inclusion Partnership remain ready to respond should episodes of this return, most of their activities just now are focussed on supporting those people housed in emergency accommodation and in follow-on situations and services. Please include this in the Julian House/Camrose partnership’s publicity for this joint project.
