Basingstoke Street Pastors gives a massive ‘thank you’ to Jenny D’Ambrosi and Malcolm Murray. Jenny was Street Pastors Administrator and is stepping down after years of sterling service. Malcolm Murray, Street Pastor Coordinator, was in at the very start of the Basingstoke initiative over 12 years ago. He really has earned the moniker ‘Mr Street Pastor’ and is very well known around Basingstoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Malcolm will continue to be a Street Pastor Team Leader, but is stepping down from his Coordinator duties. Both Malcom and Jenny will be sorely missed.
We are pleased to be welcoming David Grant to the team. He will be combining the roles of Street Pastor Coordinator and Administrator. He leads Basingstoke Street Pastors into an exciting future as we anticipate a world post-COVID 19.
David brings varied work and life experience to the role having been Pastor of Life Church in Hook for 10 years and prior to that having worked in education for over 20 years and in industry for 4 years. Along with his wife Ann he now worships at Gateway Church Basingstoke. David is father to two grown up daughters and has two granddaughters. In his spare time you are likely to find him pounding the trails around Hook as he trains for Marathon and Ultramarathon races.
